THE LADY OF THE CAMELLIAS
romantic ballet-theatre
based on the novel of Alexander Dumas
Neoclassical choreography for the music of Franz Liszt, a subtle ballet with tragic events drawn by the novel of Alexander Dumas, which represents a combination of romanticism, lyricism , and depth of feelings in the world of the main character . Its main character is a woman named Marguerite, inspired by the courtesan Marie Duplessis, who was the mistress of Dumas and later of the composer Franz Liszt.
“In the story of Marguerite, in most cases the conflicts of soul, loneliness and love drama, you will feel the nuances in the state of rich colours, a broad fan of emotions of soul, a research of harmony, pain and tragedy, hope and the love of beauty! This story fascinates me both for the creation of choreographic partitions, and by phenomenon, what is very very rare in one story, to prioritize the interests of others rather than the future of one’s own wishes. There is something to admire! “Tiit Härm
